- America's Wetland: Campaign to Save Coastal Louisiana: Currency-The website looks like it is updated often but the only date I see is a copyright 2008 at the bottom. Coverage-The site covers many things from how coastal erosion is effecting Louisiana, how you can get involved and donate, and lesson plans to teach kids. Authority-Amer ica's Wetland Foundation is responsible for this page. They are sponsored by very well known companies throughout Louisiana. Accuracy-I think that the information is very accurate. They give you numbers on the amount of land lost and they have a progress report so people know what they are doing. Objectivity-I think that one of the main objectives of the page is to get readers to donate to their organization. There is a little advertising but it is for other organizations like this one.

- CQ Researcher Online - Entire Report- Protecting Wetlands: Is the government doing enough?: "Wetlands are a potential solution, because they absorb large quantities of carbon in plant matter and soils. But climate change could also harm wetlands, either by flooding them or drying them out. "Wetlands are one of the better sequestration sources out there. They're equal to or better than forests," says Myers of People for Puget Sound. His organization is identifying local marshes that were diked and drained for agriculture, where selling carbon sequestration credits could accelerate restoration work and provide additional funding...Whil e wetlands store large quantities of carbon, they also emit other greenhouse gases as bacteria break down organic material, and warming may speed these processes up."
